Pregnancy

Many people opt to start their relationship with their lactation and feeding specialist even before their baby is born. This approach offers you the opportunity to create a breast feeding plan and learn about the ins and outs of feeding before your baby arrives. When your newborn arrives, we then confidently put the plan into action and make adjustments as needed as you progress along your feeding journey.

Parenting and Postpartum.

The first few hours after birth are so important to both you and your baby. Your body is healing and shifting to post-partum, and your newborn is experiencing the world – including feeding. We’re able to proactively assist you with understanding your baby’s needs and establishing feeding strategies within the first few hours of your baby’s life.

At THE WOMB, our Infant Feeding Specialists are here to support and assist you through any difficulties you may encounter with breastfeeding or alternative feeding methods like bottles. We will help you understand the reasons behind your challenges, conduct a comprehensive examination of both your and your baby’s feeding anatomy, and provide practical guidance and continuous follow-up.
