We Are Here for You
The WOMB has provided tens of thousands of family members in Southern Ontario with health and wellness treatment and care, fitness and yoga, education, and products since 2014. It is a center of excellence in fertility, pregnancy, birth, the postpartum period (and life beyond parenting) that sees you as a WHOLE person – taking into consideration your physical, mental and emotional health when caring for and treating you and your family. This is why The WOMB is often referred to as a “Wholeness” center rather than just a “clinic”.
Why We Care So Much
THE WORLD OF MY BABY: The WOMB™ first grew out of a passion for nurturing, loving and inspiring birthing families with the founding of the Halton Doula Group by Lorri Fleming and Angie Stenback in 2007.
Over the span of 7 years the group grew and formed a community of health care practitioners that became The WOMB: The World of My Baby.
THE WOMB opened its doors with its flagship practice in Milton, Ontario in June 2014 and has since expanded to include 4 locations including Burlington, Vaughan and Woodstock. Today, THE WOMB provides families a one-stop shop for:
- nurturing guidance, health and education when planning a pregnancy (and conscious creating)
- when searching for a mindful and informed birth and parenting experience
- when seeking family healthcare, personal development and self-growth.
The WOMB fosters this through self awareness practice, support, education, an integrated and collaborative whole health team, yoga and fitness and retail products – in a non-judgmental, safe and welcoming environment.

The WOMB’s Roots
The WOMB’s ROOTS ground us, provide our foundation, and nourish our vision and mission. The following values represent our philosophies and guide us as we endeavor to nurture, love and inspire communities.

Inspiration, Truth, and Authenticity

Gratitude and
Giving Back
Preserving
Mother Earth
When becoming parents, we become protective with all our being for our children. Our children are our roots and legacy, and we are their sustainer of life. Mother Earth protects us in a similar way by providing life-supporting air, with water to hydrate and land upon which to sow our crops. We believe it is our sacred and divine duty to respect our mother earth, preserve her legacy, conserve her resources and keep her as clean as possible.
Halton Region is located within the traditional territories of the Naishnaabek, Haudenosaunee, Attawandarin, and the Metis. The Territory is mutually covered by the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Iroquois Confederacy, the Ojibway and other allied Nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. We recognize and honour the real history and beauty of Mother Earth and thank the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation for sharing their traditional territory with us. We have the responsibility to honour and respect the four directions, land, waters, plants, animals, ancestors and elements of creation that exist and have walked before us.

Learning
and Evolving
We have a deep belief that when you know more, you do better. We acknowledge that learning is a lifelong process. It means growing in awareness, taking the opportunities for education, developing intuition, living by our own core values, and listening to our inner wisdom.
The WOMB’s team members endeavor to provide a safe community for BIPOC and 2SLGBTQIA clients, including using inclusive language at all times and participating in continuous anti-racism and anti-oppression education.
